About Us

What is Sorami?

Sorami means beautiful sky.

It's always there — through hard days, big milestones, the unremarkable Tuesday mornings you'll forget by next week. We don't always stop to notice it. But when we do, there's something quietly steadying about it.

That's the feeling we're building toward.

Why We Started This

We're a female-founded brand, and we started Sorami Society because we lived the problem first.

Women carry a lot — responsibilities, expectations, the mental load that doesn't clock out. Somewhere along the way, taking time for yourself got labeled as indulgent. We want to challenge that. Self-care isn't a reward you earn after you've done everything else. It's a baseline. It belongs on the list.

We weren't looking to build another wellness brand with polished promises and products that fall apart after a month. We were tired of those too. So we built something we actually wanted to exist.

What We Stand For

We're not here to hand you a 30-day plan or a transformation that looks great as a before-and-after.

What we believe in is smaller than that — and more honest. Start moving, even if it's small. Find what feels good. Come back to it. That's the whole framework.

Our products are chosen to make that easier. Equipment that's genuinely enjoyable to use, designed for your living room, not a gym. Things that ease you into the zone — not things that give you something else to feel guilty about skipping.

What We Curate and Why

Every product we carry passed one question: does this actually make the experience better?

Not just aesthetically (though that matters too). Actually better — more enjoyable, more likely to make you want to show up again tomorrow.

No filler. No overwhelming options. No equipment that stops working three weeks in. We do the searching so you can skip straight to the part where it works.

The Community Side of This

Sorami Society is a space for women at every point on the journey — whether you're figuring out what movement even feels like for your body right now, or you've been at this for years and still have inconsistent months.

Everyone does.

You're not behind. You're not doing it wrong. You're just figuring it out, same as the rest of us.
